So you want to learn to fence?
You’ve come to the right place – it’s what we do best!

While we do have professionally accredited coaches, even they can’t make you a master swordsman in 8 weeks (they’re good, just not magic).
Our Beginner’s Course teaches the basic techniques and tactics of rapier duelling. You will learn to handle a rapier, engage an opponent and perform basic combat techniques and strategies.
Our Beginner’s Course costs $100.00 with your first lesson FREE (to get you hooked). Once you pass your Beginner’s Course and join us as a Novice, your classes will cost $15 per night (you can take as many classes as you are eligible to join), with options available to reduce the cost for the term or 10 class cards.
You’re in for 8-10 weeks of pure fencing fun!
We train every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm until 9.30pm. The Beginner’s Course starts at 6.30pm and runs for 45 mins.
We understand that not everyone has a combat-ready rapier at home. Luckily we will provide all the equipment you need for your course. All you need to do is arrive wearing comfortable clothes that you can move in, and wear enclosed sport or running shoes. It’s a good idea to bring a bottle of water – you’ll work up a sweat!
We start new Beginner’s Courses every 8 weeks. You are welcome to come and sign-up at any time, or feel free to email us or send us a message to let us know you’re coming!

To be a champion! Just kidding, that takes time. BUT our HEMA Intro Course is designed to offer an overview of what competition fencing is all about. You will learn the fundamental techniques of movement, blade control, defence and of course, attack. Whether you’re interested in competing or just in it for fun, our HEMA Intro course offers a hands-on approach to rapier combat.
There is set price for the HEMA Intro Course.
Classes cost $15 per night with options available to reduce the cost for the term or 10 class cards.

The HEMA Intro Course starts at 7.00pm and runs for 45 mins.
After your class you’re welcome to stay and test your skills for the remainder of the evening.
